It occurred to me while in Italy that much of the
striking light and color comes up from the soil.
The greens and blues are a bit shifted from what I am used to to due to
the terra cotta earth tones reflecting up.
The cypress are like old wise witnesses, some as old as 1000 years.
Lastra A Signa sits along the Arno river, much of the town unchanged for centuries.
Villa Pandolfini is magnificent, I hope to return one day.
